What’s On My Face? Copenhagen Edition.

What's On My Face? Copenhagen Edition.

[dropcap]O[/dropcap]kay so technically when this post goes out I’ll be waking up in sunny (?) Copenhagen, bright eyed and bushy tailed. I’m so so excited. Copenhagen has been on my list for ages and ages, and I have no idea why. It’s just one of those places that has always had an air of mystery about it, far more than I’ve ever really thought about Paris, and I just can’t wait.

But, I have my blogging duty to perform before I leave. Shall we talk about what I’ll be putting on my face while I’m there? Let’s do it!

I’m flying from Paris to Copenhagen, hand luggage only, and so everything I pack has to fit into one of those plastic wallet things that they give you at the airport. Thus, I have to keep my face minimal. Gotta have room for things like toothpaste and moisturiser too, y’know? I don’t really wear a lot of makeup, anyway. Contour and eyeshadow and lips are all left to special occasions. I like a good black cat eye and a bold brow. Call me the Adele of Paris.

– Seriously, please do because I’d cry. Please can I be Adele?

On my face will be my trust No7 Instant Radiance foundation. My new fave for the warmer weather and for decent coverage with a softer finish. Excellent stuff. If you click through that link, right there, it’ll take you to my review. You can find out all you need to know about it there, as well as a handy purchase link! I’ll also be bringing along my beloved Hoola Bronzer because who doesn’t love a slight sunkissed glow, wherever they’re going? Just enough to stop my face looking flat, but not enough to turn me the colour of SunnyD (not that Hoola could ever do that because it’s a fabulous neutral brown and also oh my god throwback!).

Brows will be my number one brow product for the moment, the Sephora Brow Thickener. I love this product so much. It’s so easy to apply, hangs around all day, and gives your brows just the right combination of super natural and super bold: just how I like them.

I’m a big black cat flick kinda gal. Partly ’cause I can’t really do anything else, and partly because it suits me and I look badass. I draw my jumbo flicks on with Soap & Glory’s Supercat Fat Jumbo Eyeliner Pen, and have done for absolutely ages now. I’m really worried that it’ll run out soon, before I get back to the UK. I guess I have other eyeliners I could use… None of them really glide on as effortlessly as the Supercat though. Seriously, it takes less than three seconds. Perfect for a girl on the go. I top my eyes off with a million coats of Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara because I have absolutely no eyelashes.

Et voilà! An easy five minute face that can be done in my Snapchat camera on a hostel bed. (I know this because I’ve done it a few times before…)

What would you pack for two days away in Copenhagen?
Have I missed any essentials?

A cat eye flick is always a badass look, though I can’t ever seem to get mine right, starts drooping halfway down my face. I am in serious need of picking up that Too Faced mascara again, it was my holy grail for an absolute age, plus the packaging is swoon! Have a lovely time in Copenhagen! xx

  • Nice products. I wish I suited a cat eye but I just look a bit tired with it. Sure you will look fab in Copenhagen, the Adele of Copenhagen too! Have a great trip! x

I just love how you’ve styled that photo! It’s definitely the prettiest flat lay I’ve seen in awhile. Big cat flicks are the way to go, and Copenhagen sounds so fun! I hope you enjoy it.
