TRENCH COAT*: CLOTHESMINDED | JEANS: FOREVER21 | SCARF: H&M | SHIRT*: CLOTHESMINDED | BOOTS: URBAN OUTFITTERS (SIMILAR) | WATCH: ASOS
I’ve had my eye on a few trench coats for a long long time now.
Even back in September I was all over finding a trench but could never justify adding one to my million other coats. That and the fact that winter was coming ever closer and they’re not known for being the warmest. But, with Spring seemingly here already (even if it is FREEZING out there), I figured it was time to jump into the trench coat trend arms first. (lol sorry).
This is where the lovely people over at ClothesMinded come in. ClothesMinded are pretty new to the fashion scene, only being created in 2013, but they pack a punch. Their aim is to provide affordable, fashionable clothing that doesn’t compromise on quality. Big claims, big results.
Obviously the first thing that caught my eye was this beige trench*, a steal for £24. I might have even poked Ollie awake like ‘oh my god look at this trench – yassss!’ Made from real, sturdy material, they’re right about not skimping on the quality. I can definitely see myself throwing this on as the weather warms up for my little trips to the boulangerie, or general jaunts around Paris. It’s also available in navy and black so I might even stock up. The only thing I would be wary of is that the sizing comes up a little on the big side, so while perfect for chunky winter jumper weather, I might size down on the next one!
ClothesMinded were far too generous and also offered me a second piece to help style my overall outfit. I’m a big monochrome fan while out and about in Paris (like everyone else, literally) so this smart/casual tartan shirt* fits the bill perfectly. In fact, it fits the bill so well that… we went to Bill’s. (Oh god, I’m sorry again.)
The shirt is super soft and super comfy, a real ‘pretending to be far more dressed up than you actually are’ shirt. Y’know? I mean, its comfy enough for a day spent watching Harry Potter, and no one needs to know that while you’re out for dinner. For all those capsule wardrobe fans, grab yourself something like this.
Also I’ve decided, after trying the entirety of the Bill’s breakfast menu, that I am definitely not a dessert person. Savoury all the way, I’m afraid. (Pancakes were delish though…)
You can follow ClothesMinded for all your fashion needs on instagram, twitter, and facebook AND they’re also offering 50% off their non-sale items at the moment!
Are you a big trench coat fan like me?
Also, omg how cold is it at the moment?! We froze taking these photos!
