I’m a huge fan of three things: the first is pretty much any Wes Anderson film; the second is pretty wall prints; and the third is the colour pink. You can see why my life is revolving around this print at the moment then.
Ollie’s in the middle of refurbishing his room which means hours and hours trawling homeware shops for things that might look nice. He’s turned down my suggestion of a pink velvet chair (in favour of a mustard velvet one, so not all bad) and the idea of getting a huge Turkish style rug. I mean, why even ask for my help?! – I kid, I’m obviously thrilled with the mustard chair and can’t wait to steal it from him at some point.
But on the hunt for some wall art (he settled on this AMAZING Gatsby print) Ollie found something special. As I say, I’m obsessed with Wes Anderson films (Isle of Dogs did not disappoint) and The Grand Budapest Hotel is one of my all time favourite films. I love the gorgeous sets and the changes in cinematic style/aspect and I love the characters’ mannerisms and yeah, I love all of it. Ollie sent me this link and I automatically HAD to have it.
The Etsy store is Archive Film Posters, if anyone’s on the hunt for something filmy while a little bit different.
I find my uni room incredibly difficult to live in. It’s big, but in the roof so not a lot of wall space, and the paint is a really nasty dark magnolia. There’s also a wall sticker that I’ve covered with photos that says something like ‘live in the moment’ – that’s right next to my bed so…
Adding little home touches, like this gorgeous print, has been a real blessing. I love it so much that I just had to share!
