This week I have had one of the busiest weeks in forever. Seriously, the end of the summer term of uni is just the worst if you want to actually relax after exams.
Let me break it down for you:
Sunday to Tuesday saw me getting very little sleep, with 8am starts and 1am finishes, my Durham college staged High School Musical, from scratch, in 48 hours. So much fun, so little sleep.
Thursday and Friday saw coffee with friends, a 21st and a Summer Ball – again, bed time at 7am is probably not a great idea but amaaaazing! I set an alarm for 1pm. Who even does that. Lunch for breakfast?! Best part is that I didn’t drink a all at the ball and so despite my tiredness I was completely hangover free come Saturday morning!
Between all the madness, however, I did manage to keep Wednesday free for myself. Waking up feeling hungover (minus the alcohol.. sucks to be me) from the stress of the musical, I decided to run a hot bath, make some tea and watch a little tv. Now, on Friday Ollie and I had taken a little trip to the Metro Centre for a little bit of pre-Bali shopping. Being on a little bit of a spending ban I held myself back and only purchased one beauty product: the Lush Dragon’s Egg bath bomb.
The bomb has a gorgeous fresh scent and melts away to reveal a fun coloured middle! Perfect when your headache can’t handle the brightly coloured swirls of a Lush bomb but still want all the relaxation.
This Sunday officially marks the start of my last week in Durham for over a year and I’m not sure how I feel about that. In just under a week I say goodbye to everyone I know to fly to a country where I know no one with the possibility of never seeing a lot of people again. I think I need to make the most of what’s happens next and embrace the time I have left in Durham – just like I have done over the past week! Definite swings and roundabouts.
Have you found time to relax lately?

That’s my next lush bath bomb then! I haven’t tried that many, and tend to stick with my favourites. Wow, are you off on a year abroad? x

Boo for leaving Durham!! I love the colours of the bath bomb!
I know I’m so sad to go 🙁 I’ll be back loads though to see friends and the boy, and also in a year’s time! xx
The dragon’s egg bath bomb is my number one favourite, I just love the citrus scent so much! Try and be excited about going somewhere new and think of all the new adventures you can have 🙂 xx

You’re right – I think I’m just feeling sad about it as its now the last week of term and everything is so fun and exciting! I’ll be fine 😛
Also yes the citrus is so amazing – definitely my favourite scent ever (: xx
I think I’m just sad about it all at the moment because its the last week of term and everything is so much fun – I’m going to miss a lot of people and a lot of things haha.
Citrus is definitely my favourite scent! xx
That’s so understandable because it will be a massive change but in a years time when your saying goodbye to the other place you will feel the same. Likewise, I love anything fruity too!! 🙂 xx
This bath bomb looks so pretty! I love the rose in the pictures too 🙂 xx
Chasing Belle
