Sunday Post #2: Home Comforts//Happy Easter!

Another week has been and gone (time flies, right?!) so its time for another Sunday catch-up!

Grab a cuppa, maybe a slice of cake, and we’ll get started…

Last week:

So I’ve spent the last week roaming the both East and West Sussex with my no.1! Ollie lives on a gorgeous mini farm with woods and cows and I absolutely love spending time there. While I live in the middle of the countryside too, there’s just something special about relaxing with cows…

While at his we relaxed, ate the most delicious vegan lentil and sweet potato pie ever (thanks Ollie’s mum) and visited Lewes for a little lunch. I don’t know if any of you have ever been to Lewes but it’s the most beautiful little town full of country-style bakeries and cafés (and of course, the Original Bill’s)! While there we stopped at the Owl Flint Bakery where we both had the most gorgeous butternut-squash and coconut soup with fresh bread – so good!

I’m so grateful that I live in such a wonderful part of the country, with wonderful people and WONDERFUL food.

On Thursday night I had one of my bestest friends over for the night and we made the most amazing pizzas (see photos above)! Mine was a vegan artichoke, pepper and olive pizza and tasted like absolute heaven. HEAVEN.

The week ahead:

A quiet week ahead for me – expect a little revision and a lot of procrastination!

I’ll be reviewing a few of my favourite products, as well as telling you a little more about myself!

On top of that, this afternoon I’ll be posting all about Easter and what it means to me – as a theology student, as a follower of the plant-based lifestyle, and as a Christian. So many different angles, so much to say, so little space to get all my ideas across 🙁
