Almost by accident, my instagram has had a little bit of a makeover.
What started as a little bit of fun in Bali, taking some proper insta-worthy snaps, has become a full-time obsession. I think all that sunshine and sea has done something fabulous to my eyes/photo taking skills and all of a sudden it’s all white backgrounds, exposure and bright colours. I LOVE it.
So, in true blogging style, I thought I’d share it with you properly in one handy place. I present my last week (ish) on instagram!
Something that I’ve recently re-discovered is the iphone’s own built in editing software. About a year ago I went through a massive ‘chrome’ filter phase and we’ve all seen those nightclub style, orange tinged photos. I’ve now gone back to chrome having played about with Afterlight and VSCO and all of the blogger’s most loved. The iphone is so underrated as a photo tool! Just saturate the colour a little and up the exposure and bam! Crisp, colourful and beautiful.
I’ve been lucky enough to have some really gorgeous things to take photos of. Whether it’s brunch at Bill’s. ice-cream in Brighton or simple home comforts. I’m incredibly grateful for all that this summer has brought me. Since Bali I have also become absolutely obsessed with coconut water and its becoming quite an expensive problem. At least I’m living at home at the moment – I don’t know how I’m going to manage in Paris! This rebrand is something that I’m super excited about. I mentioned upping my content quality in my Sunday Post on my return from Bali, and I’m so happy that that has managed to seep into all aspects of my blogging life. As you can see I also have a brand new layout and general feel and I’m absolutely thrilled. This summer marks a huge turning point for n&b as I take massive strides forward into creating my perfect online space.
