[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t’s September! I turn 23 in two weeks (ish) and head back to Durham to start my MA in a month. Exciting times. This summer has really flown by if I’m honest. Way quicker than last summer!
So, with only a month left before I get back to the grind of Theology, it’s time to set some goals. As usual, I’ll definitely set these and then forget all about them. That’s not the point though. It’s more about getting a plan down on paper than anything else.
1. HIT THE GYM
I’ve been going to the gym with Ollie for the last month, and it’s been nice to do something I once loved doing again. I used to be a big gym junkie, going pretty much every day, and then it slipped away. Last year I found the gym at uni really intimidating so just didn’t go. What’s been nice for the last month is that I’m actually a lot fitter than I thought I was, and a lot of it has come straight back to me, like nothing has changed. It’s been really cool. I’m really excited to keep going and build the habit before I go back to Durham.
2. SORT OUT ‘THE BRAND’
I’m finding n&b still a little bit all over the place at the moment. My photos change vibe from post to post and I’m not really sure who I am and what I’m about. This month my plan is to try to figure out a brand-thing for my photo taking and editing. I want everything to be a little more seamless, a little less ‘this photo will do’. Gotta keep it tight, y’all.
3. GET MY HEAD BACK IN THE UNI GAME
With only a month left, it’s time to get my head back in the game. Time to head back to the books and remember just how to reference, etc. This year will be hugely different as I’ll be living in a gorgeous flat instead of college, with MA work to do instead of my undergrad stuff. The people will also be entirely different to what I’ve been used to for the last four years. Still, I’m excited. I love learning, and I can’t wait to get back into it. Keep ya fingers crossed for me. x0
