Open Tour, Paris (II)

I went on an Open Tour of ParisThat’s right, its time for part II of my little tour of Paris (with help from Open Tour, Paris).

Here’s part I if you missed it.

I’ll be honest, I’m absolutely in love with this set of photos and you’ll probably see them all pop up on my instagram in the next week or so because damn. A perfect cold, crisp Sunday of sightseeing! Sunday’s trip took us around the backstreets of Paris, before bringing us back round to Bastille and Notre Dame. Notre Dame is one of my all time favourite churches (yes I have a list…) and I always love walking past it. I’m so lucky to live just a few streets back from the river banks.

Isn’t Paris beautiful now that winter is coming? There’s a definite chill in the air and my one massive scarf is now a permanent fixture around my neck.

One of the things I’ve noticed is how few signs of Autumn there are here. The leaves are still pretty much green and the weather has only just turned. It’s midway through October! I’m really looking forward to when the leaves do finally turn and winter is well and truly on the way. Just imagine how gorgeous Christmas in Paris is going to be?!

In other news, I recently wrote a piece for the Durham Tab (the university online magazine-thing). It’s another one of my classic, grumpy humour pieces so I think you might enjoy it!
