October Favourites, 2015

octoberfaves7 octoberfaves6October Favourites October Favourites Well here we are at the end of another month, looking back at some of the things that have helped me through by being fabulous. Yes, its October Favourites time!

This month’s favourites may as well be a haul, if I’m honest. I bought or acquired them all in October/late September and have been using/loving them throughout the month. There’s something exciting about new and brilliant things, right?

Let’s go left to right, shall we?

First up is my brand new Nikon Coolpix S3700. My trusty Nikon J1 isn’t wifi enabled (annoyingly) so taking decent insta photos when my phone is dying – so all the time… – is pretty hard. I picked up this little tiny camera for 80€ including memory so I’m pretty happy. Obviously the quality isn’t up to my J1’s standard but it does take a gorgeous insta-shot that I can send to my phone and upload in seconds!

I mentioned at the beginning of the month that I’d been on a bit of a spree in Lush. I picked up the Santa Baby lip tint on a whim, red not really being my thing, and haven’t taken it off my lips since. Such a no fuss way to add a pop of colour and can be worn as light or as heavily as you like and the pigment is just brilliant. All the gold stars for this one!

My Collection concealer ran out earlier in the month (cry) and I had to find a replacement pretty quick. I picked up Lollipops Paris’ Absinthe Concealer in Monoprix and have been really impressed with it. The staying power is fabulous! The colour is a little darker than I need but nothing noticeable, and easily blended! The absinthe also dries out any blemishes and that’s pretty cool (and pretty French too…)

The Balm’s Mai Billsbepaid nude lipstick has also been a winner this month. Another Monoprix purchase (seriously, Monoprix is so good for makeup), I absolutely love the colour of this lipstick. A gorgeous pinky nude that lasts well and looks pretty in the bullet. I’m obsessed with nude lips so this makes a wonderful addition to my massive collection!

All of these things have really made my month sparkle. However, nothing has made me happier than my gold Karma necklace, given to me as a birthday treat by the one and only Oliver. I literally haven’t taken it off since my birthday and it looks so so gorgeous sitting right between my collar bones. I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful boy with such a wonderful taste in gifts. This and the gold and opal ring that he bought me last year? He’s a keeper!

What have you loved this October?
