[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hen the PR email for this bad boy came through, I was in the middle of a study room surrounded by people revising for their final exams. This made my little excited squeal all the more awkward. For me it was a welcome distraction from trying to learn every single thing that happened over the two-hundred years after Luther’s 95 Theses. For everyone else it was probably really annoying and distracting. Soz.
So anyway, a week later, here I am obsessed with my brand new baby: the Vivienne Westwood cross-body bag in gold*. Yep. Obsessed. Revision has once again taken the back seat and I seem to spend all my time moving it around my room trying to figure out where it looks best amongst my things. Is that lame? Yep? Whatever. As of right now I have absolutely zero reason to leave my room/college so moving it about is about as much action is it gets.
Give me two weeks and it’ll be accompanying me to brunches and picnics and literally every little summer trip out.
And where did this little gold ball of excitement come from? Tessuti, the online designer retailer. They stock massive brands like VW, Calvin Klein, Moschino and all sorts. It’s like walking up Bond Street but sitting in bed and in one place. So just like it. Seriously though, they have some cracking stuff on their site, and also run a student discount so you can spend that student loan without feeling too guilty… hehe.
I’m also really excited about the whole Westwood bag situation because I’ve been looking for a small bag that I can carry around with me at the every growing number of balls and events that I’m attending at the end of this term – not too big that it looks stupid and annoys me all night, but big enough to hold a small pair of flats, my phone and wallet. The gold is perfectly glam-but-not too. It’s that perfect ‘gold but not in your face gold’ that is got wrong so often. I can’t wait to wear it with the dresses I’ve slowly been acquiring. Final year life, am I right?
Want to bag yourself a little Westwood number too? I can’t recommend Tessuti enough, to be honest. They have you covered.
