Can you believe it’s May already?! I swear I was writing one of these for March like yesterday!
Maybe I was. Maybe I scheduled this months ago. Maybe I’m so bloody organised that I’ve planned my goals for 2017 already? (I haven’t.)
Another month has come and gone and here we are again, ready to sort out another 31 days of things I probably won’t achieve, or even remember in three days time. Hoorah!
April was a long month for me. I was ill twice (including a cold that lasted two weeks!!), I went to Disneyland, had people over for three of the five weekends, and have literally just got back/am on my way back from a week-long trip home and to Durham. May doesn’t look like it’s going to be any less busy.
So what’re my goals for the next few weeks?
- Get back into some kind of fitness regime. Seriously. I actually think I went to the gym once in April and it sucks. I’m awful. There’ll be a post coming up about that in the next week so watch out for that. Ideally, I’d like to reach a pretty average level of fitness so that I can go back to Durham in October completely back on form. Lol I used to be part of the Athletics club. Me. Lolololol.
- May is actually past full month in Paris, forever. I know, I’m borderline crying just thinking about it. This month, if all goes to plan and I’m super organised, there’ll be at least a post a week up on an individual part/bit of Paris. As well as looooads of touristy guides and things like that. I’ve been holding off doing them until I knew loooaaads about the city, so it’s now or never!
- Work on my instagram. I’m all over instagram at the moment and I’m smashing my goals pretty darn quickly. Expect more of the same!
And that’s it! Pretty chilled goals for what’s going to be a busy busy month.
I’m keeping it chilled because I can’t afford, health wise, to overload myself. I spent April so ill and exhausted, mentally and physically, that I didn’t really get a lot done of any great consequence. I wrote a hell of a lot of blog posts though… This month I’m just going to take it slow, enjoy each day, pass my exams, and keep myself happy!
