[dropcap]I[/dropcap]‘ve spent at least two weeks of the year on the Yorkshire coast since the day I was born. As far as I can remember, my grandma had always lived in the beach town of Filey, and we’d always made the 6 hour drive to see her in the holidays and half terms. She sadly passed away a few years ago, but we’ve kept her little house by the sea, and still come regularly for fish, chips, the odd day of sunshine, and to see family.
More often than not, we take a little trip to Flamborough Head. The rocky cliffs and great white lighthouse that are just visible to the right, from Filey’s own bay. We wander around, take a look in the water for some cute little seals, and then head back home with a happy ice-cream belly and massively windswept hair.
I took my camera along on our trip last week, just to grab some pretty sea snaps and share one of my favourite places with you all. No running commentary or anything, just photos (and a super arty photo of half of my face where you can see literally every pore I possess…) Enjoy!
