I mentioned a few of my goals for 2016 a little while ago but thought I’d be a little more specific when it comes to the online world.
Everyone says that blogging isn’t about the numbers. In the immortal words of Gregory House, ‘everybody lies.’ Of course everyone thinks about the numbers. Hell, you’d have to be made of pure gold to genuinely believe that you aren’t driven by numbers in any way at all. Don’t try to tell me you don’t notice when your follower count goes up. We all know that little jolt in your heart when you see it, and the bolt of anger when they unfollow you after ten minutes because you didn’t follow them back.
This post is actually going to be a really short one as my goals don’t really need any kind of explanation other than a little summarising statement so do let me know if you need anything clarified/explained.
Shall we get started?
Hit 2000 followers on n&b (bloglovin)
Hit 2000 followers on twitter
Hit 3000 followers on instagram
Hit 50,000 views
Earn myself a DA of 25
Set up a little YouTube for the odd video diary
Fingers crossed all of these are achievable and that I haven’t challenged myself a little too much (or not enough). I’ve used the growth of my blog over the last 7 or so months, taking into account a slow start, to predict what could, reasonably, happen to n&b – and then added a little extra to keep me on my toes.
I’m really excited about my blog since I had my little breakdown over it a while back. Everything seems to be coming up roses and I hope they bloom well into next winter (cheeeesey). Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me, yeah? Plz?
Do you think I’ve aimed too high? Not high enough?
What are your blog goals?
