48 Hours In Amsterdam: Photo Diary.

48 Hours In Amsterdam

[dropcap]J[/dropcap]ust like my Nice post, this little Amsterdam post is going to be pretty short and sweet. As with my trip to Nice, I kinda just forgot to take photos. It wasn’t that Amsterdam wasn’t beautiful, and that the streets and canals weren’t teaming with insta-fodder, it’s just that I just wasn’t really interested in taking photos. I wanted to just explore, without a heavy camera round my neck, and relax into the town. I’m not sorry at all.

Truth is, I’m not a travel blog, and I don’t especially like, or approve of, blog guides to foreign places. Obviously share your photos and your hidden gems and everything you love about a place, but personally I would never have the guts to tell you just how to travel Amsterdam and what to do there. I know nothing about Amsterdam. Honestly, the number of things I’ve seen people write about Paris that are just misleading or downright wrong – and I’m hardly local.

Then again, don’t listen to me because I know nothing about blogging, and you do whatever you want and own it. I’m just grumpy because I have to give all this travelling up soon because actual university is calling.

But that leaves me in a little predicament as I have a small number of photos and really nothing to say about them other than ‘look how pretty they are?’ and ‘follow my instagram!’

Well, you’ll just have to make do with that. Amsterdam is gorgeous and I’d recommend it to anyone. But you already knew that, didn’t you.

Have you visited Amsterdam?
Did you find that it was difficult to take insta-shots of because of the green, because green is not really your insta-jam? Same.
